No. 6: Thermal Cycling

What is Thermal Cycling?
In semiconductor manufacturing, the interior of certain equipment can reach extremely high temperatures, ranging from 500°C to 1000°C. Examples include ion sources in ion implantation equipment and light sources in lithography tools. Thermal cycling refers to the repeated temperature changes that occur within such equipment.

Solutions for High-Temperature Challenges
NBK offers a range of screws designed to handle these extreme conditions:

[High-Temperature Environments]
Tungsten has a melting point of 3683°C, while pure molybdenum has a melting point of 2623°C, making them both high-melting point materials.

SNCW : Tungsten
SNSM : Molybdenum

[Seizing Prevention]
Our screws are resistant to galling and seizing even under thermal cycling.

SNSL-PN : Surface Hardening Treatment

SNSS-MO : Molybdenum Disulfide Coating
