No. 8: Preventing Part Fall-out

Hello,
This week, Japan’s weather has finally cooled, and the autumn breeze is refreshing! In Japan, we often call autumn "the season of hearty appetites," and one seasonal highlight is chestnuts. I would like to introduce a traditional Japanese dessert called "Kuri Kinton." This simple dessert combines steamed chestnuts with sugar and is shaped like a chestnut. The soft, fluffy texture and natural sweetness let you truly enjoy the rich chestnut flavor.

Preventing Part Fall-out in Semiconductor Equipment

The internal structure of semiconductor manufacturing equipment is highly complex. If a screw or washer falls inside during assembly or maintenance, it could hinder operations, making it challenging to retrieve. However, NBK’s Captive Series offers effective solutions.

■Tools with Screw Holding Function
These hexagon screwdrivers and sockets can retain screws at the tip, preventing them from falling.

■Captive Screws and Washers
With captive screws, even when removed from the frame, the captive screw does not fall out of the cover because it catches on the cover screw hole.

■With Built-in Washer
The washer is built-in already, so there is no concern needed for washer fall-out during assembly or maintenance.
