[NEW] SEMS Screws for Sheet Metal

NBK has launched two types of screws with Captive Washers for Sheet Metal,
as well as a new Socket Head Cap Captive Screw made of SUS316L.

■Screws with Captive Washer for Sheet Metal

Compared to standard captive-washer screws, they feature a shorter unthreaded
section that allows fastening thinner sheet metal. With these screws, the thickness
of the plates that can be fastened is less than half of SEMS that possible with
standard screws. Two types are being released as follows:


◆SNSQS-SUC
Socket Head Cap Screws with Washers for Sheet Metal (SEMS)

           

◆SNPI3-SUC
Phillips Pan Head Screws with Washers for Sheet Metal (SEMS)

            

Bolts for sheet metal are also available with special specifications such as dimensions, material, head shape, and more. Please contact us for details.

■Socket Head Cap Captive Screws

These screws are designed to prevent accidental fall-off or loss. They are typically used to secure protective and inspection covers that need to be removed and reinstalled frequently.

◆SSC-SNSL
Socket Head Cap Captive Screws - SUS316L

             
SUS316L is a stainless steel that adds Mo to SUS304, giving it excellent pitting and
oxidation resistance. Its low carbon content also boosts intergranular corrosion
resistance. Because it contains Mo, it remains strong at high temperatures.
