Characteristics
- Conforms to JIS B 1176, ISO 12474, and DIN 912.
- Fine screw thread hex socket head cap screws conforming to JIS B 1176.
- Strength class is 12.9. High strength.
- Compared to coarse threads, they have a large effective diameter and improved fatigue strength.
- The thread pitch is small, with more screw threads than coarse threads. Suitable when coarse threads do not provide sufficient screw threads.
- Because the screw thread lead angles are even smaller than those of coarse threads, there is minimal slippage on the screw thread surface, providing loosening countermeasures.
