These are screws made of materials and surface treatments that emit low levels of outgassing.
Due to their minimal outgassing, these screws are ideal for vacuum environments such as vacuum chambers used in semiconductor manufacturing.
There are also titanium screws with low outgassing that have undergone brightening treatment.

Galling and Seizing
