Inconel 718 Equivalent Hex Socket Head Cap Screws (Special Item)
About Inconel 718
Inconel is a Ni-Cr-Fe type corrosion and heat resistant super-alloy that is a registered trademark of Special Metals Corporation.
It is also specified by various standards such as JIS and ASTM, and is divided into 600, 625, 718 and the like depending on the added element.
Inconel 718 is an alloy in which Mo, Nb, Ta and the like are added to Ni-Cr-Fe, providing high strength under high temperature environments and making it possible to achieve achieve a tensile strength of up to approx. 600°C with an age hardening heat treatment.
It is also called ALLOY718.
Characteristics

- Demonstrates high strength in the temperature range up to 800°C.
- Excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance.
- Age hardening heat treatment provides tensile strength of 1,280 MPa or higher.
